Name Description
Fort Legacy Fort Legacy is designed to securely support over 100,000 people, encompassing all essential branches of government, military, staff, and civilians to maintain continuity during emergencies. The Executive Branch includes 25 personnel, housing the President, Vice President, and Cabinet members in secure, well-appointed quarters. The Legislative Branch consists of all 448 members of Congress—192 Senators and 256 House Representatives—with dedicated living and working spaces. A military force of 2,000 personnel provides defense, rapid response, and facility security. Specialized teams include 1,200 medical staff, 5,000 technical and operations personnel, 1,000 scientific and agricultural workers, 2,000 education staff, and 500 recreation and morale personnel. The support staff, responsible for maintenance, sanitation, food services, and administration, number around 20,000. The majority of residents, approximately 67,827 civilians, live in efficient, resilient residential zones. This allocation ensures Fort Legacy operates as a fully self-sustaining, secure refuge and command center, preserving government continuity and civil society through extreme crises.

White House The White House serves as both the official residence and the executive office of the President of the United States. It is a complex facility combining historic architecture with modern security and operational capabilities. The building and its grounds support around 150 occupants daily, including the President, staff, security, and support personnel.

Equipped with advanced air filtration and secure government communication networks, the White House maintains continuous functionality with backup power systems and emergency resources. Its size spans approximately 180,000 square feet across multiple wings and floors, with dedicated spaces for executive offices, residential quarters, and operational centers like the Situation Room.

The facility includes secure transportation assets such as the presidential motorcade fleet and Marine One helicopters, alongside underground tunnels and vehicle maintenance areas. Security is tightly integrated through physical barriers, electronic defense systems, and coordinated protective services led by the U.S. Secret Service.

While the White House hosts many staff and essential personnel on site, key federal agency directors and legislative members operate from separate locations. The facility is designed to ensure resilience, autonomy in crisis scenarios, and continuous executive operation under all circumstances.

Joint Base Andrews Joint Base Andrews is a major U.S. military installation serving as a critical hub for presidential air transport and strategic airlift operations. Covering approximately 6,000 acres, it supports thousands of active-duty military personnel, civilian employees, and family residents.

The base features extensive infrastructure including multiple large hangars designed to house Air Force One and other VIP aircraft, advanced air traffic control towers, and secure command and control centers. It maintains high levels of autonomy with dedicated power generation, water treatment, and logistics support to ensure continuous mission readiness.

Personnel include a robust mix of operations, technical, support, medical, and recreational staff, all coordinated to maintain base security and functionality. The defense systems at Andrews include armed security forces, surveillance, electronic countermeasures, and hardened facilities designed to protect high-value assets and personnel.

Joint Base Andrews serves as the premier site for presidential and VIP air travel, emergency response, and a wide range of military aviation missions, ensuring strategic mobility and security for the nation’s top leaders and assets.

The Pentagon The Pentagon serves as the headquarters of the United States Department of Defense and is one of the world’s largest office buildings by floor area. It houses approximately 26,000 military and civilian personnel across a vast complex designed for continuous defense and administrative operations.

With over 6.5 million square feet of space, the Pentagon includes extensive office areas, command and control centers, and support facilities all within its iconic five-sided structure. Its infrastructure supports secure communications, advanced air filtration, and robust network connectivity critical to national security.

The building features advanced defensive systems including hardened construction, electronic countermeasures, and multi-layered physical security measures. While it lacks an airfield, it is well-integrated into the National Capital Region’s transportation and security network, including access to underground tunnels and the Metro system.

Personnel encompass a broad range of military, civilian, technical, and support staff who maintain the readiness and operations of the U.S. defense apparatus. The Pentagon’s design and capabilities ensure it remains a resilient and secure nerve center for national defense and strategic planning.
Air Force One The VC-25B represents the future of presidential air travel—a state-of-the-art airborne command center built for 21st-century threats and global mobility. Based on the Boeing 747-8i, it offers increased range, higher fuel efficiency, greater floor space, and updated interior architecture compared to its predecessor.

Its core mission remains unchanged: provide the President of the United States with safe, secure, and uninterrupted communication and operational capabilities during flight. The VC-25B will feature hardened communications, enhanced survivability against missile and cyber threats, and a luxurious yet functional interior tailored to executive leadership and national defense needs.

Capable of global travel with midair refueling and logistical support from accompanying military aircraft, the VC-25B will ensure the President can project leadership from the skies—whether during a diplomatic mission, national emergency, or global crisis.
Air Force Two Air Force Two, usually a C-32A aircraft, is the designated air transport for the Vice President of the United States. Sleek and smaller than the President’s VC-25A/B, it is capable of operating in diverse environments and airports where larger aircraft cannot. It provides both security and efficiency, supporting high-level diplomatic missions, domestic travel, and emergency continuity of government operations.

The C-32A is equipped with private offices, secure communication links, and press accommodations while retaining a range of over 5,500 nautical miles. While it lacks the aerial refueling and hardened defense suite of Air Force One, it remains a highly capable executive platform with robust DoD-level communications and operational capabilities.

The aircraft is typically supported logistically by military airlift teams, with vehicles and staff deployed via transport aircraft such as the C-17. As a critical asset in the U.S. executive travel fleet, Air Force Two ensures the Vice President remains connected, protected, and operational wherever their mission takes them.
